It’s been awhile since I’ve written and probably nobody reads this, but I just needed to look at pictures and “Remember Mike” (it’s somewhat comforting) but not one day passes that we don’t miss him. As Tom said yesterday, I had another “Mike moment” today when he saw a young man in blue scrubs who looked just like him….cigarette and all Our challenge is turning those “sad” times around and somehow finding joy again. We will all cherish those “Mike moments” forever….thanks Mike!
Who knows where life’s path will take us next, but after losing him, seeing some of our loved ones who are currently struggling with health issues and other issues….it has firmly cemented my belief that there is NOTHING more important than family (and of course some “good” friends) to walk along that path with you! So whether you live near or far, cherish each moment, each phone call, each card, each email, each text….anything that keeps you connected to those you love. You can get through anything life throws at you when surrounded by “good” people!
I hope this finds you and your families well and happy. My new email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Love to all,
