Your Memories

I will always remember the friendship Mike and I built while working at Hank’s Ice Cream… and the pool parties/ bonfires after work! It was my favorite job as a a teenager and Mike was a huge part of that. He could always make me smile and was always so kind and generous. Mike also introduced me to the beautiful city Burlington when Mr. Giunta and I helped to move him into his awesome bachelor pad at UVM. I am sorry that Mike and I fell out of touch after college. It is with a heavy heart that I send my condolences and prayers of strength and healing to the Giunta family.

Mike was more than just an amazing friend , he was a part of our family from the very beginning of our friendship all those years ago. I can’t remember a major milestone or event that Mike was not a part of. He was there for weddings, baby showers , birthdays, moves, memorials, maiden boat voyages and holidays. Mike was one of the first people to hold and meet each of my three children. He was an amazing “Uncle Mike” to them and he was one of their favorite people. My deepest sympathies to all of his family, he was a wonderful person and a true friend and I am so glad to have had him in my life for all these years. Sending you all love and strength. Xoxo Emily

I had the pleasure of working with Mike on the PET Scanner over the last 9 years. He was always compasionate and caring to all his patients. He always had a smile on his face and a story to tell. He will surely be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

I lived in the apartment above Mike for a few years, back in the early 2000s, on Oxford Street in Rochester. Mike was a kind, gentle person who always made me laugh. We had a lot of fun hanging out and letting our dogs play together, as they were both puppies at the time. I last saw Mike a few years ago, when I randomly bumped into him at Fenway Park.

To Mike’s family, I’m so sorry for your loss. You are in my prayers.

To the Giunta Family ,
We are so sorry for your loss. We had the honor of seeing Mike almost every Friday @ St Elizabeths hospital in brighton , ma. He would come into our department to take care of his paperwork for the day. He was always so cheeiful and full of life!!
We all remeber him telling us his plans for the weekend or what he did the past weekend. We will miss that..

Kathy, Tom and Ryan,
I am so very sorry for your loss. I can not imagine what you are going through. Michael was such a fine young gentle man. I still remember him as the young boy from our camping trips, especially at Camp Giunta. I remember how excited and proud the boys were with their own haunted hay ride. I know there are so many wonderful things to remember about Michael. Hold on to your memories and your friends and family. We are all here for you.
